Privacy policy
This English version is provided for convenience. The German version is legally binding.
Protecting your personal data matters to us. This website is deliberately built to collect as little data as possible: it sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools, has no contact form and loads no third-party content (fonts and the map are also hosted on our own web space). Below we explain, in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, which data is nevertheless processed.

2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The website files are stored on servers in the European Union. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server log files
When you visit the website, your browser automatically transmits data to the server, which is stored in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested, HTTP status code and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (previously visited page), if transmitted by the browser
- browser type and version, operating system
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, and fend off attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other data sources or analysed for marketing purposes. Log data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes; data needed to investigate a specific security incident is kept until the investigation is complete.
SSL/TLS encryption
This website is delivered exclusively via encrypted HTTPS connections, indicated by the padlock icon and “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
3. No cookies, no tracking
We do not set cookies and do not store or access information on your device beyond what is technically required to deliver the website (Section 25 TDDDG). No analytics, advertising or audience measurement services are used. The only exception: if you switch between light and dark mode yourself, your browser stores this choice locally (local storage, entry “tmd-theme”). This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us; storing it is necessary for the service you explicitly requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
4. Fonts and map
The fonts used (Montserrat, Open Sans) are stored locally on our web space. No connection to Google or any other provider is established when you load a page.
The map on the home page is displayed using the open-source software MapLibre GL JS. The map data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence; prepared with Protomaps) is also stored on our own web space. No data is transmitted to third parties when the map is displayed.
5. Links to external services
Below the map we offer links for route planning (Google Maps, Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap); in the header we link to our Instagram profile; on the team page we link to the websites of our team members’ practices. These are plain links: data is only transmitted once you click a link and thereby open the provider’s website. From that point on, the provider’s privacy policy applies, in particular:
- Instagram: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland – privacy policy
- Google Maps: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland – privacy policy
- Apple Maps: Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Cork, Ireland – privacy policy
- OpenStreetMap: OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, United Kingdom – privacy policy
For our Instagram page, we are jointly responsible with Meta for certain processing operations (Art. 26 GDPR). Meta provides further details in its privacy policy.
6. Contacting us by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your enquiry) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to treatment or a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you share health data with us, we process it solely to handle your request (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR). Please note that unencrypted emails are not protected against access by third parties; for sensitive health information we recommend contacting us by phone or in person. Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
Within the statutory framework, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). An informal message to the controller named above is sufficient.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
8. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place. You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide personal data; however, the website cannot be displayed without the technically required connection data.
